Cancellation Policy
REGULAR LESSONS
Since our lessons are limited to a small number of people each day; we require you reserve your spot with a $50 deposit per lesson. Your deposit will be refunded if you cancel or reschedule your lesson(s) at least 72 HOURS in advance (3 DAYS). If you do decide to pay the full lesson amount upfront, full refunds will be made if notice of cancellation is received at least 72 HOURS in advance of the appointment time. If a cancellation is made less than 72 hours from the appointment time, the appointment holder may lose the $50 deposit if we are unable to fill that spot. We will do our best to fill your reserved time slot, but there is no guarantee.
A no-show or cancellation on the day of an appointment will be charged the full amount of the lesson. This policy exists because we do everything in our power to make sure our customers make it on our boat to have a good time and learn wakeboarding. A no-show means the time slot is unavailable to other wakeboarders and therefore we consider it a used lesson.
We do not accept cancellations made through email, other individuals or agencies. This means you must call us at (916) 532-9253 and let us know of the situation. There is no guarantee that we will receive an email or a message of cancellation from anyone prior to 72 hours, which is why we do accept those types of cancellations. After canceling a reservation we will either apply the funds to your next lesson(s) or send you a refund for the amount of the lesson(s).
We reserve the right to cancel lessons due to low attendance. For our half day lessons, we require at least 3 students per class in order to run the lesson. If less than 3 students are enrolled for a certain day, we may cancel and therefore reschedule for an alternative day or give a full refund, what ever you choose. We do our best to keep the schedule we have, but we can not always predict the attendance level.
All customers are held responsibility for cancellation fees resulting out of reservations which needed to be cancelled due to the fact that a customer scheduled or planned “by mistake” the wrong dates or incorrect information.
DAY CAMPS
Day Camps must be paid in full at the time of scheduling, before the camp begins. Due to the limited number of students we accept for each Day Camp, we require that parents pay for the class in full at time of scheduling. If a cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to the Day Camp, a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is made within the 14 day time period and we are unable to fill that spot, the full amount of the Day Camp will be charged to the individual. If we are able to get your spot filled within that time period (which we do not guarantee), a full refund will be issued.
We reserve the right to cancel a Day Camp due to low attendance. For our Day Camps, we require 5 or more students per class in order to run the camp. If less than 5 students sign up for a certain day, we may cancel and therefore reschedule for an alternative day or give a full refund, what ever you choose. We do our best to keep the schedule we have, but we can not always predict the attendance level.
WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE WATER CONDITIONS
Due to Folsom Lake being a public recreation area, we can not guarantee you will have smooth water for your lesson. The water on Folsom is generally smooth, but there are times when the lake may have high boat traffic. For more information please ask us when the best times are to take a lesson. We want you to have a great time with us, so feel free to ask as many questions as you like.
In case you have any questions regarding our services or our cancellation policy, please call or email us with your question prior to reserving a time for lessons. We can be reached by calling 916.532.9253 or sending an email to [email protected].
Thanks for taking the time to view our cancellation policy and we look forward to helping you become a better wakeboarder and have a ton of fun while doing it.
